Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Data Analyst with Out & Out Original, a Designer Home & Garden Furniture company based in London.
Job Description:
Full time Data Technician to monitor, update the companies back-office data base and records. Analyse stock holdings and assist with stock procurement. Assist with analysis of customer purchasing patterns and retention data. Assist with the analysis and reporting of departmental KPI’s. Assist with the management and updating of the company’s data records.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Monitor customer orders using our order management system and excel to identify – errors and issues within the system.
- Use Google Analytics to understand the customer journey and improve marketing ROI
- Use our orders despatching software to manage, update data for our external stake holders.
- Perform Weekly analysis of consumer purchasing habits using excel.
- Analyses our CSM system to create a weekly report on customer service KPI’s reporting to the management team.
- Update the companies records for orders – adding notes/comments as needed.
- Perform any other duties needed by the Finance and Operations Manager/Managing Director.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills and Personal Qualities Required:
- Basic experience of Microsoft office suite- including MS Word and Excel.
- Understanding of Google Analytics.
- Desire to work in fast pace and busy office.
- Go getter who is willing to learn and absorb ideas shared with them.
- Energetic, curious, can do attitude, problem solving and passion for storytelling.
- Willingness to Learn new skills on the job.
- Imaginative and a passion for presenting your ideas.
- Strong organisational & multi-tasking skills – good attention to detail and able to work under pressure and deadlines.
Future prospects:
The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.

- Gather, inspect, cleanse, transform and model data to identify patterns and trends.
- Present data and produce dashboards and reports to aid visualization and comparison.
- Use advanced theory and diverse techniques to harness greater understanding.
- Inform decision-making and make recommendations using an evidence-based approach.
- Ensure your business processes and procedures are compliant with data protection legislation.
