Job description
Village Maid Cheese Ltd produce five award-winning artisan cheeses with milk from local, family-owned farms.
We’re looking for a Dairy Assistant to join our team as we approach an exciting time of growth and development within the company. As a Dairy Assistant you will be involved in many aspects of production including the cheese make itself, deep cleaning after the make, wrapping, turning and washing (washed-rind) cheese.
An awareness of personal hygiene is essential and any experience with HACCPS/food hygiene would be preferred. Previous work experience in a food preparation area is also preferred but training will be provided (including Level 1 Food Hygiene exam). The ability to work quickly and efficiently is essential in a manufacturing environment.
Working hours: 7:30-13:30 Wednesday and Friday
