Novacoast is looking for a strong candidate to be a part of our Security Operations Center Team in our Manchester office. The SOC team monitors, analyzes, and responds to infrastructure and application threats and vulnerabilities.

Must be willing to work any of the 3 shifts

Responsibilities:

• Detection, monitoring, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
• Must be able to perform network, application, and log intrusion detection.
• Participation in security incident handling efforts in response to a detected incident.
• Must be able to maintain awareness of trends in security regulatory, technology, and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work any of the 3 shifts
• One to three years of experience in a technical support role.
• A hunger to consistently hone and grow your skills and technical certifications.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Consistent attention to detail and follow up skills.
• Must keep security and confidentiality in mind during each and every transaction throughout the course of the day.
• Mac, Linux and Windows skills a huge plus, but the ability to learn is the most important.
• Must be able to pass a background check prior to hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
