Cyber Security Consultant - Security Vulnerability
Location: Birmingham
Please Note: Due to the nature of client work you will be undertaking, you will need to be willing to go through a Security Clearance process as part of this , which requires 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.

In our team you will learn:
Gain experience in managing the configuration of protected systems to ensure that any vulnerabilities are understood and managed.
Scanning technologies and remediation processes to Accenture and client standards
As a Security Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will have:
Knowledge of security operations and procedures
Experience in protecting information systems and assets by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in cloud, operating systems, software, systems and networks.
Experience with configuring and using Security scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Endpoint security
Minimum 2 year of hands-on security related experience in AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
Managing reports of vulnerabilities in software and hardware, and research potential vulnerabilities in systems
Propose and implement mitigations for identified vulnerabilities
Write and deliver client vulnerability reports
Assessing new vulnerabilities, investigating solutions, and recommending controls to minimise risks
Familiar with running infrastructure, network and application vulnerability scans
Provide support to and work directly with support teams/client teams on vulnerability remediation.
Using scanning tools and utilities, such as Qualys, NMAP, Nessus, Retina
Tracking of onboarding and decommissioning devices and maintaining an asset database
Work with our internal compliance and external auditors
