The Opportunity

In response to the changing needs of the Clarion business and the increasingly important role that Clarion IT plays in the success of our portfolios, we have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst/Consultant to join the growing team.

You will join a new team responsible for implementing operational cyber security throughout our dynamic global organisation.

The Cyber Security Analyst/Consultant will provide guidance and support on IT Security matters through expertise and knowledge. As part of the IT Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, including Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability are maintained for the provision of systems and services. Through monitoring, evaluation and in collaboration with our CISO Consultant, you will lead on IT Security activities, assist in the development of strategy, and manage the risk to the IT facilities and information from internal and external threats.

Key Responsibilities


  • Deployment and support of operational cyber security tooling
  • Monitoring alerts, logs and investigation of incidents
  • Promoting cyber security across the business
  • Identify and assess emerging cyber security threats and vulnerabilities that could affect the business and users of its information
  • Contributing to the cyber security vulnerability program across the business
  • Develop and contribute to Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, SIEM and IDS/IPS
  • Assist in the coordination of security penetration testing activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, processes, governance standards and frameworks
  • Advise business departments on security requirements and controls, providing information security guidance across IT operations and new projects

Essential Skills & Qualifications


  • Experience in cyber/information security operations (min 5 years)
  • Experience and good hands on implementation, administration and support of security tooling e.g. Sophos, Mimecast, Cisco, Microsoft, Forcepoint, ZeroFox or similar technologies
  • Good working knowledge of technical security and IT technologies: TCP/IP, MFA, SSO, AV, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SIEM, CVE, CVSS & Windows operating system
  • Good communication skills, diligent and methodical approach to investigations and problem solving.

Logistics & Process
This role is hybrid in nature, therefore, on average we require at least 3 days a week on-site. Offices are based in Putney, London.


We run a 3-step interview process:
  • Step 1: Screening call from a recruiter (Assess suitability for the business and the role)
  • Step 2: 1st interview – Hiring Manager (Technical Interview)
  • Step 3: Final interview – (Values & Behaviours)
