This role will be available on a hybrid basis out of either our Shirebrook or Manchester HQ’s.
The salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
You will join our team in safeguarding our organization against evolving cyber threats. You will be gathering, analysing, and interpreting threat intelligence data to proactively identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and cyber-attacks. This role requires an understanding of the cyber threat landscape, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
You will be monitoring a variety of sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and industry feeds, to identify emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
Collaboration is key for this role, you working closely with cross-functional teams, including SOC (Security Operations Center), incident response, and IT teams, to ensure timely sharing of threat intelligence information
- Experience within threat intelligence analysis, incident response, or related cybersecurity roles
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms, SIEMs, and other security tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect and interpret complex threat data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
- Understanding of various malware families, attack vectors, and cyber-attack campaigns
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in cybersecurity
