
Cyber and Information Security Analyst Stirling, Scotland
Job description
NHS Forth Valley are recruiting to their Cyber and Information Security Team. This is great opportunity for someone wishing to hone and develop their skills in this exciting and growing field. Based within the Information Governance Unit, the post-holder will work with a band of specialists to provide advice on matters of Cyber / Information Security Technical Controls, Procedures and Standards. They will assist the Cyber and Information Security Manager in establishing and maintaining standards as required by the Network and Information Systems Regulation and Data Protection legislation.
The post holder will assess Cyber Security Technical controls for NHS Forth Valley and collaborate with partner organisations on a range of complex and sensitive security issues providing expert specialist advice on Information and Cyber Security to other IT Professionals, Clinicians and all staff in NHS Forth Valley.
The post holder will contribute to and participate in development and implementation of NHS Forth Valley Information Security Policy and Information Governance Strategy. We need someone with a flexible approach to work, excellent presentation, negotiation, facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
The ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential as this post will involve cross site working.
