A vacancy for a Customs Specialist has arisen for Airbus Operations Ltd in Filton where you will be part of the Customs Department (FAC). Customs is part of a “Center of Competences” located in Finance and providing support to all functions across the group. You work closely with your colleagues in other Airbus Commercial countries such as China, France, Spain, USA and UK also with customs specialists in other divisions (Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space) located in the UK .

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Implement Airbus Operations Customs policy in its day-to-day operations, to keep AiOp’s compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and business objectives.

  • Administers AiOp’s Customs activities through the application of business processes and controls, to mitigate risks and optimize opportunities arising out of the company's international trade activities.

  • Delivers a courteous and efficient Customs service, to satisfy the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders.

  • Respond effectively to enquiries and requests for assistance in the Customs field.

  • Identify and pursue operational opportunities to add value or to protect the bottom line.

ABOUT YOU

  • Knowledge of SAP GTS would be a strong asset or any other customs IT systems

  • A history of dealing with external organisations

  • Experience of International Trade

  • Comfortable Working in a small team
