Responsibilities:
The Patient Care Tech works under the direction of a licensed nurse to assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional and timely manner. Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct care with limited invasives procedures. This position is an advancement opportunity for the Nurse Aide and adheres to the delegatable tasks approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.Qualifications:
AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider card showing completion of cognitive and skills evaluation in accordance with the curriculum of AHA BLS (CPR & AED) program required.
Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills

Reading and numerical competency. Patient Care Experience is helpful, but not required.
