The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Service Management (CSM) department for a Customer Support Officer.
What you will do
The Customer Support Account Management department is multidisciplinary covering technical, logistic, financial and commercial aspects, critical to providing Customer Satisfaction with AW Products.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Monitor service delivery promises to the Customer to ensure they are achieved and maintain agreed service performance levels, thereby assisting customer satisfaction;
- Support the management of Support Contracts for in-service aircraft (Warranty, Power by the hour, Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA))
- Manage the Customer account status and activate recovery actions (as leader for Commercial Sales and as supporter for Government sales)
- Support closure of post-delivery pending items
- Support Customer in resolving all complex issues (major events, obsolescence, fleet deployments, etc…)
There will be the opportunity for significant travel both to the Leonardo Italy sites and customer sites across the UK.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years’ experience within the Aerospace sector in either a Commercial or Customer Support role, ideally having worked in a Customer facing environment
- A self-starter that takes accountability for the allocated tasks with the drive to work independently
- A positive attitude expressed in drive, motivation and commitment in executing the tasks in a cross functional and multidiscipline team
- Ability to assess complex requirements and articulate them to the necessary stakeholders within the business
- A working knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, formal presentation) and interpersonal skills (influencing, negotiating and motivation) at all levels of the business
- Interpersonal skills to enable close business relationships to be developed with customers/operators, internal stakeholders and the Senior Management team to Senior Vice President / Director level.
