Position Summary:

Beacon is looking for creative minds to reimagine aviation that can help us build the next generation customer-facing platform for aviation.

Although we are part of a larger organization our digital team is small, nimble, and fast-paced. This culture provides an opportunity to think and innovate in a complex aerospace environment. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business development to drive a design process that works back from the customer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the voice of Beacon and the brand ambassador when interacting with airline users, technicians, and the public. As the voice of Beacon, you will be required to gather customer feedback and customer inquiries. You will put the customer first and proactively reach out to leads and customers to gather customer insights and ensure an impeccable quality of service. By analyzing this feedback needs you will work closely with product, business, and design to interpret and design new features.
  • Grow leads and close customer sales. Prioritize building and cultivating stakeholder relationships with lead lists both internally and externally. Support the business development team with prospecting new customers including online and on-site demonstrations.
  • Onboard and train new organizations with their employees in the use of Beacon. Track and monitor customer usage to report back to our internal development team any bugs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • At the end of the day, your biggest responsibility is to win new clients and onboard their organizations and users, with strong downstream engagement. You have exceptional communication skills to present to all levels of an organization from technicians to managers to executives and drive business decisions across the airline, MRO, or OEM.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Sales, Customer Success and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • 5+ years of experience in Airline, MRO or OEM Support environment.
  • Technical experience with Hubspot and Intercom.
  • Experience developing Pgo and Pwin, strategies to attract and win new clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and reading comprehension skills.
  • Self-starter, with a passion for building (Entrepreneur mindset).
  • Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities for the position and complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural background team.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytics techniques to be able to measure customer satisfaction, user behavior and ability to support customer with data-based advice.
  • Advanced knowledge in wining proposals and negotiating with customers on price.
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Centered Design concepts.
  • English fluency in verbal and written communication.
  • Previous experience as a technician or pilot.
  • Multiple language fluency is a plus.
