We are looking to welcome co-workers to join our fantastic Checkouts team at Nottingham.
In the IKEA world, we call this position a Customer Services Co-worker.
Expected Starting Date: 25th of February.
WHAT WE OFFER
- £10.90
- Living Wage Foundation Employer
- 8 hours weekend only working, 2 days out of 7, early morning, afternoons and late evening.
- 16 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7, day, evening & weekend availability. Working 3 out of 4 weekends in a month.
- Shifts between 9am - 9:30pm, working approx. 4 hours daily.
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews
- We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on checkouts and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers, managing a queue, hosting trolleys, or assisting customers. This is physically demanding and requires the ability to work outside.
- Meeting and greeting customers at the front entrance - at times using the tannoy.
- You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
- You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
- Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in various areas of the store.
- Ensure that payments are handled in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.
- Build loyalty by ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
