Libraries, Museums and Galleries is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Customer Service Assistant to work as part of a team providing high quality, customer focused services to Library users. Reporting to the Customer Services Supervisor, you will work flexibly across two sites. You will be a well-motivated, individual with a positive, helpful, and friendly disposition and a commitment to delivering excellent customer care. This is essentially a practical role undertaking a range of duties that maintain a safe and comfortable library environment and working on the front of house Reception as required. Library work experience is not essential, but you should have the ability to work accurately under pressure in a well-organised manner and deal with library users efficiently. You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and have good MS office skills. Relevant experience working as part of a team in a comparable busy, service-oriented environment is essential. This post is a weekend post, working 8am - 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. The post is Term Time Only (36 Weeks Per Year) and on a permanent Basis.
