Maybe the thought of working in a library hasn’t occurred to you before, but if you are an outgoing team player who loves working with people, providing a friendly welcome and excellent customer service, then our Customer Service Team at The University of Manchester Library could be the opportunity for you! We work in a proactive, fast paced Customer Service environment, providing a front-line service across several different sites, together with online customer interactions and we’re looking for people to join our team.
We are recruiting for the role of Customer Services Advisor, a 35 hour a week role requiring the working of a shift pattern. There are three vacancies.
If you require further information we are holding on campus and online Open Day sessions so you can come and find out more about the role, meet the Customer Services Team and ask any questions.
On Wednesday 1st March 2023 we are holding an in person Open Day session from 10am to 4pm in the University of Manchester Main Library. There is no need to book just come along. You do not need to attend the whole session.

Don’t worry if you are not able to come along, we are also holding two online introductory sessions on Friday 3rd March 2023 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm. You do not need to attend both sessions.
