Position Summary
Due to an internal promotion within Edrington UK, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Customer Services Team Leader on a permanent basis, reporting to the Customer Operations Manager. This role is responsible for leading the Customer Services team, and enabling them to ensuring all aspects of customer orders are fulfilled, across the whole Edrington UK portfolio of brands, delivering world class customer service to a wide range of UK based customers. The Customer Services Team Leader will ideally have some previous line management experience, be a team player, supporting their peers and colleagues in the wider Supply Chain team in delivering our mission: Excellent execution to the point of purchase.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Line manage up to 5 team members, inclusive of training and development and performance management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers and logistics partners
- Inspire Customer Services team towards exceeding key performance indicators on customer orders and claims management
- To lead or participate in supply chain continuous improvement projects and customer initiatives
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will have sound experience within a customer service environment. You will have strong organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will have a curious mind and be confident in challenging the status-quo. They will also be comfortable in leading a team through periods of change.
This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to work 50% of their working week from home and 50% from the office, located in Glasgow city centre.
