The Saddle Bank is the UKs largest online equestrian saddle retailer shipping saddles worldwide. We are looking for an experienced customer service (saddle) consultant to join our team and take the reins (excuse the pun) on all customer service activities.
This is a varied role, and will suit an organised, dedicated individual who likes responsibility and taking action.
Customer Service Saddle Consultant
Monday-Friday
8.00-5.00pm
Based in our Peterborough Office.
As a Customer Service Saddle Consultant your role will include;
- Picking and Packing saddles and accessory orders.
- Ensuring saddles are clean and up to standard before dispatch.
- Running final inspections on saddles before dispatch.
- Unboxing incoming deliveries.
- Checking in stock against delivery notes.
- Preparing saddles for the website; cleaning, photographing, reporting on stock.
- Adding saddles to the system and website.
- Ensuring warehouse and office work areas are kept clean and clear.
- Preparing boxes and organising packaging.
- Reordering packaging supplies, saddle cleaning products.
- Warehouse stock checks and inventory management.
- Dealing with customer service enquiries via phone, email, messenger and face to face.
- Booking couriers for collection/shipments
- Raising invoices
- Conducting regular stock checks, maintaining stock levels and reordering with suppliers when required.
- Dealing with DPD disputes
- Ensuring website stock is accurate and up to date
- Supporting senior team members on project work such as system development, product development, marketing etc.

Essential Skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience dealing with customers over the phone, email and/or face to face

This role is based from The Saddle Bank HQ in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You must be able to get yourself to and from the job.

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
