Customer Service Officer - Full Time

Salonserve is a national mail-order company based in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, supplying professional hair and beauty salons. Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a customer service/office administrator to join our small friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity and would suit a candidate looking for a position within an office environment.
Some previous experience or knowledge of beauty therapy or hairdressing is helpful but not essential. This role is more dependent on your attitude than your abilities.
The main purpose of your role is to take incoming orders over the phone using our order processing system. Whilst also performing other side duties such as:
- Handling incoming customer service queries
- Accurately inputting data
- Processing online orders
- Growing and maintaining customer relationships
- Advising on the various product ranges
You will get help and support throughout your role and we are keen to invest a lot of time and training in you.
Full time working hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Flexible hours may be considered.
Required Skills:
- Able to provide friendly and helpful assistance to our clients and your co-workers
- Ability to work within a team
- Be PC proficient
Personal Qualities:
- Able to communicate well
- Positive overall approach
- Hard-working with a can-do attitude
- Interest or knowledge in the Professional Beauty World would be advantageous.

Competitive Salary: up to £23,000.00 per year depending on experience. No agencies.
