The Opportunity
Leonardo Helicopters UK Customer Support Division is responsible for supporting an extensive in-service helicopter fleet operated by many clients worldwide, including some of the most technologically advanced helicopters in the world. Providing LH UK with over 50% of its revenue, the after sales support is an extremely important element of the business.
This is an opportunity to join a fast moving dynamic team that manage the existing Leonardo international customers fleets of helicopters. The role is highly varied, and interfaces with many different functions within Leonardo Helicopters, along with the supply chain and of course the customer. There is an element of international travel with the role.

What you will do
The Customer Service Officer (Military Export) supports the primary customer interface for Leonardo Helicopters for all customer related operational and support matters. The Customer Service Officer should have a strong Customer needs awareness and have the ability to “Think Customer”.
The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Officer are to:
- support the delivery of contracted support packages
- ensure budgeted revenue, profit and cash flow are met
- maintain and develop an excellent Customer relationship
The key accountabilities of the role, under the supervision and support of the SCSM/CSM (Senior Customer Service Manager/Customer Service Manager), is general administrative tasks, as follows (but not limited to):
- Support the delivery of materiel and services in accordance with the validated contract baselines, company commitments and business directives
- Production of progress reporting to monitor contract and Company KPIs and customer output
- Managing the day to day Request for Quotation throughput
- Processing and expediting of customer requirements through the process
- Documentation of processes and procedures for the team
- Escalation of issues that are likely to affect customer requirements/expectations
What we are looking for
- A positive attitude expressed in drive, motivation and commitment in executing the tasks in a cross functional and multidiscipline team is essential
- A working knowledge of SAP is desirable, training will be given
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- A self-starter that takes accountability for the allocated tasks
- A working knowledge of the company’s processes is desirable, training will be given
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, formal presentation) and interpersonal skills (influencing, negotiating and motivation) at all levels of the business.
