We are looking for candidates that have good knowledge in these areas for Essex, Kent, London and Heathrow. Ocean Freight, Road Freight and Airfreight roles are available at all levels. We also have many Customs positions available.
Customer Service/Documentation agent responsibilities include
- Speaking to the clients/customers in regards to the cargo which would have been shipped via land, air and sea freight.
- Monitor the shipments on a daily basis, deal with any issues that may have occurred (like any lost shipments, SOB status, Shipment status, Container loading and positioning, Quoting)
- Respond to all requests for quotes from internal parties within 24 hours from initial receipt
- You will be the first point of call for the customers and be liaising with them via telephone and email.
- Liaising with all major. Shipping lines and Airlines for procuring the best rates for quoting the customers.
- Manage on a day-to-day basis and lead general sourcing activities by developing and demonstrating a detailed insight into relevant supply market.
- Co-lead procurement and sourcing initiatives for assigned trade lane development
- Coordinate/drive business for the company in cooperation with the salesperson owning the customer and other relevant departments
- All documentation procedures to be followed up (starting from securing S/I to final handover of B/L)
- You must have excellent English Communication.
