Location: Daventry
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Mon-Fri 37.5hrs per week (09:00-17:00)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

Role Purpose:

  • To support the Customer Service Team by taking customer calls and investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Deal with site and outbase queries with regards to deliveries and product range.
  • Take and process telephone orders from customer sites and input details onto the system
  • Download customer orders and report to the relevant persons
  • Confirm deliveries using an in-house system
  • Process claims through the in-house system
  • Contact customers to advise of changes to delivery schedules
  • Investigate discrepancies with orders
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure that the customer requirements are met
  • Input all relevant information into a report for management to analyse
  • Conduct courtesy calls to customer sites on a regular basis
  • Deal with delivery queries from internal and external customers
  • Carry out any other reasonable request from Management
  • Ensure that the Company is represented in a professional capacity at all times

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a customer service environment
  • Good communication skills verbal & written
  • Flexible, able to cope with changing priorities and demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Able to organise and prioritise tasks on a day to day basis to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail, ability to complete tasks accurately
  • GCSE's including Maths & English grade C or equivalent
