Looking for a career in the hospitality industry? We are currently hiring for the positions of barista and customer service representative at our bustling coffee shop.

As a barista, you will be responsible for brewing coffee, creating delicious espresso-based drinks, and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons. You should have knowledge of coffee culture and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring that their experience at our coffee shop is nothing short of exceptional. You should have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and be able to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Ø Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the café and Take customer orders and process payments accurately

Ø Ensure customer orders are delivered in a timely manner

Ø Provide recommendations to customers on menu items and upsell products

Ø Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe

Ø Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee/tea drink menu;

Ø Prepare drinks and food items in accordance with cafe standards

and answering their questions.

Ø Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans/ tea leaves and coffee/ tea preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.

Ø Prepares and sells drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for the drinks, such as espresso, expresso lingo, cafe latte, cappuccino, chai, masala chai, tandoori chai, and matka chai.

Ø Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.

Ø Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee/ tea brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for the tea bar.

Ø Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Ø Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.

Ø Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and tea bar.

Ø Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.

Ø Enhances the cafe's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:

Ø Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with

Ø Customer’s Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ø Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ø Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred

Ø Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation a plus

Ø Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
