Customer Service Assistant (Office based) Newcastle under Lyme, England
Job description
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join our successful Customer Services department. We have an immediate requirement for a part-time, permanent Customer Service Assistant to work in our head office in Blackbrook.
Applicants will need to be competent in English and have basic I.T skills. Previous Customer Service experience, a good telephone manner and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
Key Duties andResponsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquires in a timely, professional and friendly manner in the best interest of the customer and business to ensure successful outcomes and targets are met, whilst ensuring the customer receives an excellent customer experience.
- Handle and resolve first level customer complaints.
- Process customer orders and assist with arranging customer returns.
- Assist with providing delivery information and liaising with couriers.
- Process online customer returns.
- Liaise with internal departments regularly, building and maintaining key relationships.
- Become an expert on our brand (you will be supported with product knowledge) to ensure you are able to effectively help customers and create the ultimate customer experience.
- Work as part of a committed friendly team, you will support colleagues, taking initiative where required to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Undertake all training and development as required and actively seek out new product information and best practice.
