Job description
The Role
- To carry out patrols on foot or in the company vehicle as required or directed.
- To carry out manual car park counts of all car parks and ensure data is recorded
- To complete vehicle defect sheets prior to using any company vehicle.
- To assist customers in distress or in need of assistance, i.e. utilising the power pack for flat batteries.
- To monitor the appearance of the car parks and working areas, acting to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained.
- To ensure that should a piece of equipment fail due to technical issues, appropriate laminated signage is displayed
- To ensure compliance with customer procedures and the handling of money
- To be able to use relevant systems to ensure car park is maintained efficiently (full training will be provided).
- To ensure that all car parks are gritted in inclement weather making sure that relevant signage is visible for all customers.
- To be visible in the car parks and ensure that any customer enquiries are dealt with professionally and in a polite manner
- To engage in radio communication with the APCOA bus drivers
- To answer the intercom in a professional manner and deal with all queries in accordance with APCOA’s operating procedures.
