Customer Service Assistant
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Permenant
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £23,900

This role is office based in Corby Northamptonshire and working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 17:30.

The overall purpose of the role
As a customer services agent, your overall purpose is to support Ultima Displays’ relationships with our customers. Your day-to-day role will involve selling our products, order processing, sales support, problem-solving, and managing customer complaints whilst proactively keeping our customers up to date.
Responsibilities
- Process orders acting as an advisory to our customers, including upselling, and cross-selling appropriate to customer needs
- Operate as the main point of contact with customers
- Progress the order through our order management system giving clear updates to the customer
- Manage client orders from end to end, ensuring all orders are on track and ready for production
- Acting as a point of contact for the Ultima brand, ensure you remain professional at all times
- Makes sure customers receive requested quotes, product information, and solutions in-line with department KPIs.
- Work with the Customer Services Manager and Sales Director to highlight challenges and any suggested improvements.
- Ensure SLAs are met for each customer.
- Manage and resolve RMA’s (returns, credits, complaints) to the agreed time frame.
- Ensure finance queries are raised and resolved where appropriate for your role
Key Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills with an ability to converse at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office with a good understanding of Order Management systems
- A high degree of accuracy with an eye for detail
- Persistent with an ability to work to tight deadlines and Quality targets.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- A flexible, positive, and resilient individual with a ‘can-do attitude.
