Whether you are pulling a pint at the bar, checking customers in at reception, serving them on the lane or hosting a party (How about a quick song on the karaoke to get the party started?) A career at Tenpin is just as fun as it sounds.


What we need from you?


General


  • To greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Be a point of contact for any customer questions or concerns, reacting to and resolving as quickly as possible
  • To be familiar with all products within all areas of the centre and to have full knowledge of all current promotions
  • To constantly be alert to all sales opportunities and actively seek to offer products and services available to meet customer needs
  • To strive to constantly achieve operating standards
  • To host and entertain individuals and parties to a high standard of service
  • To participate fully with birthday parties and any other amenities within the centre where needed
  • To ensure that all customers use correct safety procedures whilst using the facilities
  • To ensure that the lanes area is always clean and tidy
  • To ensure that the arcade machines and machine areas are kept clean and tidy
  • To support with general cleaning tasks where required
  • To report and escalate any general repairs and maintenance to the management team

Reception


  • To be able to competently operate Reception, including the booking systems, tills and PDQ devices

Food


  • To ensure that you are fully aware of Food Hygiene regulations and work in a clean and safe manner to minimise the risk to customers and colleagues
  • To ensure that all areas where food and drink is prepared are kept clean and tidy
  • To cook and prepare food in line with Company specifications and requirements
  • Ensure used food trays are collected from around the site when finished and clean tables where required

Bar


  • To have full knowledge of all drinks and prices
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of the Weights & Measures Act and all Liquor & Licensing Laws
  • To ensure that the bar area is always clean and tidy
  • To serve on the bar, including making and pouring drinks and processing the transitions on the till system
  • Ensure empty glasses are regularly collected and returned to the bar

  • To attend and participate fully in all team meetings as requested by the Management Team
  • To attend and participate in all training sessions as requested by the Management Team
  • To take personal ownership for the achievement of all objectives as agreed at the annual appraisal and / or feedback from meetings
  • To ensure personal appearance, uniform and behaviour is always to company standard
  • To ensure that all possible steps are taken to minimise or prevent loss or damage to company property or assets, including information
  • To ensure fair and equal treatment to all individuals in line with legislation and company policy
  • To lead by example and encourage all colleagues to participate and work together
  • To carry out any additional tasks, as requested by member of the Management Team or above
  • To complete all Company training to the required standards and in a timely manner
Key skills
  • Full of determination, enthusiasm and patience with the ability to organise and multi-task
  • To strive to achieve a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude
  • Able to provide high levels of customer service and have strong communication skills
  • Fully flexible around working pattern (evening and weekends will be required)
  • Be approachable and helpful
