We have a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Part Time Customer Service Assistant to join our team at Jewson Kenley (CR8 5BP)!
Hours of work are full time Monday-Friday 8am – 3pm (No weekend work!)

This role has a strong focus on customer service as well as working out in the yard along side working on sales for the branch, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers and enjoy working outdoors in a fast paced but supportive environment.

- A driving license and access to a vehicle would be preferred for this position due to the branch location
So, what will you be doing?
Our Customer Service Assistants have a strong focus on customer service outside in the yard and in the branch, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers and enjoys working outdoors – quite an all rounder role, working with sales and customers along with also out in the yard happy driving a forklift.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
- Help to process and prepare customer orders
- Load/unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift to minimise manual handling
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Phoning current customers and working on building new business
- Admin based role as well, computer literate and comfortable would be preffered
- Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
