Customer Service Assistant (Job ref: TAV006)
Salary: £6,465 per annum (£21,029 FTE / £10.90 per hour)
Hours: 11.375 hours per week
Location: Tavistock Library
Closing date: 9am on Monday 25th September 2023
Interview date: Tuesday 3rd October 2023 at Tavistock Library
We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to help the team deliver an excellent, friendly, proactive and responsive service to our customers, ensuring the best possible customer experience for all of those using the library. This is an exciting opportunity to help create a welcoming environment which offers a compelling experience for new library customers, whilst also sustaining use by existing customers.
This is a frontline role and will involve working as part of team of Customer Service Assistants to develop and deliver excellent services and activities and customer care on a day-to-day basis.
Tavistock Library is a bustling and lively library, with facilities, groups and events for people of all ages to enjoy.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be involved in planning and running activities, supporting customers frontline with queries, providing IT assistance, fundraising and promoting all that library services have to offer.
