Build a rewarding future for your customers - and you
We've been helping customers save for their future - and get on the housing ladder - since 1845.
It's what we do best. And it's what you can do too - when you join a dedicated team that helps customers through their journey of life.
Join us as a Customer Service Assistant in our Newcastle branch and you'll be a valued member of that team - the first point of contact, creating positive relationships and establishing a good rapport with a wide variety of customers.
Our training and support will give you the skills to ask the right questions and understand customer needs. So you'll be confident in handling everything from straightforward enquiries such as making cash deposits and withdrawals, booking appointments – through to opening savings accounts and more complex situations that involve supporting vulnerable customers with sensitive needs.
Whatever your day brings, you'll feel proud of delivering an exceptional service that makes a real difference to the lives of your customers.
Does this sound like something you want to be part of? And do you have:
- Some experience of working in a customer service environment, where you have developed strong, positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Resilience and empathy so you can facilitate sensitive financial conversations, challenging situations and support customers with vulnerable needs.
- Confidence with in-house systems or Microsoft Office to accurately record transactions and customer interactions and an ability to navigate your way around mobile technology so you can help customers to self-serve.
If your answer is ‘Yes' to those questions, come and join our Branch Network - and put savings and home ownership in reach of more people for generations to come.
