Customer Service Assistant (Betting) - PAID TRAINING
A customer service assistant with Britbet is a customer service based role, which involves placing bets on behalf of customers and in turn paying out winning ticket/s at the Sunderland Greyhound Stadium. This requires the use of a touchscreen terminal to navigate around the different races and bet types.
We ask that upon your application, you have looked at the below racing dates on the below link and are able to commit to at least 2 days a week.

Role duties;
- To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers (training provided on the system)
- Pay out guests who supply winning ticket/s
- Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
- Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
- Explain effectively, different bet types to customers (training provided)
Skills / Attributes;
- Good customer service experience
- Good mental arithmetic
- No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
- Ability to deal with cash efficiently and total up at the end of each race day
- Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
- Enthusiastic!
Pay Rate: £11.33 - £12.46 (hourly rate plus holiday pay)
