We are currently recruiting a Customer service assistant/Barista to be a part of our integral team in Virgin Money, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 4PL
- Hourly rate of £10.50, increasing to £10.90 in April
- Part time - 25 hours a week – Monday to Friday with shift ranging between 0900-1430

What you'll be doing
- Serving food and hot drinks to our customers
- Supporting in the delivery of retail coffee and retail goods
- Operating the cash register and cash handling
- Supporting the team and ensuring equipment is cleaned and replenished as required.
- Following and complying with our food safety procedures.
- Food preparation
- Stocking up and stock rotating
- Making hot drinks on the coffee machine
- Comply with cleaning standards and controls set out in our operating procedures.
- Deal with customer queries and be able to direct them for further support as needed.
- The job description may be altered from time to time to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company
Experience
- Good communication teams and able to support customers and team members with any requests around food safety and allergens
- Great customer service skills
- Barista experience preferable but not essential as training will be given
- Willingness to support the team and help deliver any additional catering requests.
