About the job

To assist with the day to day operation of the Customer Service Department within AMI Manchester Office.

Location

World Freight Terminal, Airport, Manchester

Requirements

Main accountabilities include:

Arranging collections and bookings.
Raising relevant export paperwork, including MAWB's, HAWB's, Courier Consignment notes and NES
Call Answering – Ensuring the telephones are answered in a timely and professional manner.
Handling Customer queries for Export Consignments, both on e-mail and via telephone
Checking departure of shipments.
Monitoring and maintenance of Booking, Customer Service and documents outlook mailboxes as and when required.
To provide admin support for key accounts
To assist the other Customer Service Agents & Management, as and when required.
Fully comply with the company security regulations.
Fully comply with the company health and safety policy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Excellent customer services skills ideally within an Export environment.
Excellent time management skills to ensure workloads are completed on a daily basis.
Good communication skills both written & verbal.
Good telephone manner with previous experience of high call volumes (approx. 60 per day).
Good operational and product knowledge desirable.
Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
Must be proactive and forward thinking.
Level CO security certificate desirable (training will be provided).
