About the jobTo assist with the day to day operation of the Customer Service Department within AMI Manchester Office.
LocationWorld Freight Terminal, Airport, Manchester
Requirements- Arranging collections and bookings.
- Raising relevant export paperwork, including MAWB's, HAWB's, Courier Consignment notes and NES
- Call Answering – Ensuring the telephones are answered in a timely and professional manner.
- Handling Customer queries for Export Consignments, both on e-mail and via telephone
- Checking departure of shipments.
- Monitoring and maintenance of Booking, Customer Service and documents outlook mailboxes as and when required.
- To provide admin support for key accounts
- To assist the other Customer Service Agents & Management, as and when required.
- Fully comply with the company security regulations.
- Fully comply with the company health and safety policy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent customer services skills ideally within an Export environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure workloads are completed on a daily basis.
- Good communication skills both written & verbal.
- Good telephone manner with previous experience of high call volumes (approx. 60 per day).
- Good operational and product knowledge desirable.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
- Must be proactive and forward thinking.
- Level CO security certificate desirable (training will be provided).
