Job Description
To provide a single point of contact for customers buying small loads of ready-mix concrete.
To be responsible for pricing, order taking and delivery of small loads providing significant focus on delivering an excellent customer experience. To provide a seamless customer service experience from initial enquiry to delivery.
Description of Team / Department

Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role
Accurately price work and provide quotations where necessary.
Create and alter and confirm new customer orders whether on account or as a cash sale, completing all necessary customer order details within the Company's SAP Order Management system.
Effectively manage all calls understanding the customer requirements in order to capture the relevant information to process the customer order accurately.
Plan to ensure trucks available and allocated to correct plant.
Manage customer deliveries in liaison with drivers, Transport and plants.
Liaise with other internal Hanson team members in relation to customer orders, pricing, products, delivery matters via phone and email
Skills / Experience
Essential:
Excellent level of commitment to provide a seamless, first-class customer experience
Excellent communication skills
Highly proactive and motivated approach to work
IT Literate including Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable:
Knowledge of construction industry and products
Knowledge of SAP system
