We're partnering with a company that has grown from nothing to £15 turnover and a 40 staff headcount within 4 years of trading.

This is a Hire Desk role. Predominantly inbound communications, you’ll be acting as that first point of contact for the customer base. Whether that’s taking orders, opening new accounts or dealing with general enquiries – you’ll be given thorough training to ensure you can handle every call that comes your way.

We don’t need you to have bags of experience. You maybe have a background within customer service and now looking to transfer those skills into a new environment – those skills you’ve learned are valuable to us – thinking on your feet, multi-tasking and working in fast paced environments – that really does put you in good stead for this role.

This is a growing Hire Business in Wakefield. Ultimately, they hire out plant and machinery to industries across the country. Working in a team of around 40, you’ll be that point of contact between the customer and the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve…

  • Answering calls from suppliers and customers
  • Ensuring impeccable customer service at all times
  • Managing customer accounts
  • Working with your suppliers to ensure products are available at the best prices for your customers
  • Updating internal systems
  • Data entry
  • General administration

  • Professionalism – you’ll be speaking with a wide variety of customers on the phone and over email – confidence and professionalism will be key to ensuring a great experience for them

  • Up to £23,000 (with regular pay reviews including first 3 months)
