We’ll support and coach you with the rest of what it takes to be a great Supply Chain Customer Service Advisor; we’re passionate, responsible and we strive for excellence.
What you’ll be doing
Our Customer Service Advisor role includes but is not limited to:
- Answering all calls from our business customers in a timely, polite and professional manner
- Providing high levels of customer service, including handling customer queries
- Acting as a central point of contact to process orders, according to customers’ agreed lead-times
- Providing a central point of contact for first call resolution of distribution queries
- Capturing and managing all orders for allocated customers, ensuring these are processed efficiently and accurately, and to company deadlines
- Liaising with Supply Chain on stock availability and delivery queries and feeding back to customers, as necessary
- Ensuring that our customers and the Sales team are kept informed of order progress and any changes to the order delivery schedules, through the logistics escalation process
- Investigating and reporting order discrepancies and failed deliveries, working with the Logistics team to resolve any issues
You may be a recent graduate, looking for the first step into a career in Supply Chain or someone with experience in a different field with similar requirements keen to branch out into something new. Either way, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll get in return
The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, 2x basic salary life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays (with the option to purchase additional holidays) and access to a sports and social fund. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00, with the option of working up to two days per week remotely and free, onsite parking.
