Leeds Beckett University has an exciting opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join our Admissions Enquiries Team.
Key responsibilities will centre around:
- Answering queries from prospective students and applicants using a range of communication channels, including telephone, email and the social media inbox
- Taking ownership of enquiries from first point of contact through to resolution; liaising with colleagues or other departments for information and assistance where required
- To provide feedback to the Marketing team on the types of enquiries received, so this can be used to update customer facing webpages, and inform future communications
- Maintaining a high level of customer service by ensuring that standard levels of service are adhered to at every stage of the enquiry process
About you:
- Previous inbound and outbound customer service experience, handling a high volume of calls
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Ability to absorb product knowledge in order to best advise prospective students
- A genuine interest in helping customers and providing an excellent customer experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work as a team player and on own initiative
- A clear telephone voice with a polite, tactful and friendly attitude
You’ll work on campus 1-day / week, the remainder from home. If you’d prefer to work from campus more frequently, this can also be arranged.
