Customer Service Advisor – Across our Branch network

We are looking for Customer Advisors in our Branches. If you have a passion for customer service, love working with enthusiastic, supportive team members and can communicate well then we would love to hear from you.

Branch – helping our customers face to face

We have 28 branches across Northern Ireland, we are recruiting for the below branches:

  • North East

Ballymena, Magherafelt, Antrim

  • North West

Altnagelvin, Shipquay, Coleraine

Our branch working hours are 9-5pm Mon-Fri and Saturday 9.15-12.45 (requirement to work only one in seven but when you do, you’ll get a half day off during the week!)

As a Customer Service Advisor, irrespective of where you work, you will handle customer’s day to day banking queries, assist with their digital questions, open new accounts, provide information on new products, manage customer meetings, basically delivering that outstanding customer service we are famous for!

Within Personal Banking there are various career paths, whether it be progressing into our business or digital teams or even our customer meetings team. There are also opportunities to move into our Mortgage Team, or Risk and Operations and even into Private Banking. Irrespective, there’s lots of opportunity for progression for everyone!

Our bespoke training programme ensures our new colleagues come together for the first week of their training at our Head Office in Belfast. You’ll then complete further training all in a supportive, safe and collaborative environment.

Obviously our branch colleagues interact with customers on a face to face basis but we still offer flexibility that works with your life. If you want to work part time, we can offer that provided you are able to work at least 21 hours a week after training (training is full time 35 hours per week).

Our Personal Banking teams also have many opportunities to come together to do community volunteering. We believe that when colleagues get the opportunity to volunteer it creates value for society, our business and the individual.

What skills and experience do you need to join us?

You’ve probably guessed we are looking for individuals with customer service experience, preferably from a retail, hospitality or customer facing background. You’ll also need to have experience of working within a team and have great communication skills.   • Branches (list the locations you are interested in)
  • Part time (minimum 21 hours per week) or full time (35 hours per week)

Please note the start dates for these roles will be 17th July and 14th August.

Salary & Benefits:

There’s much more to working at Danske Bank than just a salary, but for this role we are offering between £20,225 - £24,000 (depending upon experience and shift pattern and this can be discussed at offer stage). As a Customer Service Advisor you will receive 32 days’ leave per year which includes 22 days’ annual leave plus 10 paid bank holidays (Bank holiday working is not compulsory).
