An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading providers of pet cremation services. Based at Greenacres Pet Crematorium in Scunthorpe, we are now looking to recruit an additional Customer Service Advisor to join our experienced team.
This varied role will encompass working with our team of Aftercare Advisors to provide pet cremation services to pet owners. While predominantly office based, this role also entails an element of visiting clients' homes, collecting from veterinary practices and working within the crematorium.
Within this role you will be working as part of a team, but also predominantly by yourself. We require someone with empathy, strong communication skills and a proven track record of excellent customer service.
The position will involve working 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive telephone calls from and making telephone calls to pet owner to make arrangement for the cremation of pets
- Taking payment for the cremation of pets
- Responding to enquiries/queries from general public and veterinary clients
- Maintaining a record of calls and financial transactions on Company systems
- Collecting deceased pets from clients' homes / veterinary practices
- Attending to pet owners visiting the crematorium in person
- Preparing pets for viewing
- Handling pets in a respectful and dignified manner
- Assisting with the packing, checking and return of pets' ashes
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
