Chubb Fire & Security is currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Contact Centre in our Blackburn office (BB1 2PR).
Working Hours: 37.5hr week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (or 8am-4pm / 10am–6pm etc) | Salary: £20,500 per annum with ongoing opportunity to progress within the team.
The main goal of your role will be to provide the best customer service experience to all internal and external customers calling into the Contact Centre. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders, including field-based Engineers, Account Managers, our Branch network and also our external customers, where you will carryout a number of customer service-related tasks, from receiving general enquiry calls to filter out to our branch network and booking emergency Engineer call-outs. Through to working with Engineers to organise and plan customer site visits via both telephone and email channels.
- Respond to all inbound calls in a dedicated, professional and effective manner, working to agreed response times
- Deliver excellent service to all internal and external customer
- Maintain company standards of customer relationships and confidentiality
- Accurately record information, ensuring it’s processed correctly
- Take ownership of the customer in all aspects (i.e. responding to the customer call, recording customer requests, dispatch of call to engineer through to call closure)
- Be proactive in identifying incidents that may have an adverse effect on the Centre’s service delivery and to comply with the escalation procedures in place
- Possess some customer service experience, with a passion for delivering first class service
- Be a proactive individual with strong telephone and communication skills
- Good IT skills, experience of MS office
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
- Be able to work in a team and communicate effectively with members of their own team and others
