Job description
We are seeking individuals with first class customer service skills to join our customer service team at our study centre in the heart of Manchester. Working within a friendly team, you will be the first point of contact for our students and tutors, providing an excellent experience for all. A varied role, you will also be involved with completing admin tasks and facilities management. You will be keen to learn new things and will love problem solving.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensuring that students have a great experience whilst being at BPP
- Covering reception desk and greeting visitors
- Facilitating and scheduling computer-based assessments and acting as an invigilator
- Liaising with internal departments in support of administrative tasks
- Building close relationships with students, staff, and contractors
- Acting as first point of contact for facilities and building issues that might arise
- Providing support for BPP events as well as providing classroom support
- Providing a first line response to the IT queries and troubleshooting issues as well as logging issues with the IT service desk and installing basic IT kit
- Acting as a Health and Safety Contact, First Aider and Chief Fire Marshall

What we’re looking for
This is a busy role and you will thrive on using your strong customer service experience to provide a great experience. You will be competent in the use of MS office systems and have strong communication skills. A real people person, you will enjoy speaking to students and Tutors. You’ll have great organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and will be able to use your initiative to solve problems. You will have lots of support and will be given training.
This role will be fully office based from our Manchester centre and will involve evening and Saturday working to cover the opening hours. This is done on a rota basis.
