Cheshire Occupational Health Service is a collaborative service providing staff support to a number of NHS organisations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to join our team at our Occupational Health department at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Withington, Manchester.
The Customer Service Administrator will provide a comprehensive, quality, and confidential administrative service to the Occupational Health team.
The post holder will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with and supervised by the Customer Services Supervisor to ensure that an efficient service is provided.
The post holder will be capable of the full administrative function within the team and be able to step in to fill gaps to ensure continuity of service. It is essential that the post holder can exercise initiative suitable to the role and is fully supportive of other colleagues in the administrative team
Cheshire Occupational Health Serivce is a collaboration between Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East Cheshire NHS Trust.
The post holder will be employed by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust however will be based at The Christie Hospital Manchester.
Occupational Health is about supporting the health and wellbeing of employees and this post is fundamental as it will be often be the first contact staff have with the service. We therefore require an individual that is interested in excellent customer service and has an interest in health and wellbeing of NHS staff would be advantageous.
1. To provide a comprehensive administrative service to Occupational Health staff.
2. To manage reports to general practitioners, managers, and other staff from a variety of Trusts and small businesses.
3. Receptionist duties including answering the phone, recording of messages, and booking appointments on to an electronic diary system.
4. To arrange meetings with others and to book suitable accommodation for meetings.
5. Collecting, sorting and dealing with the daily mail.
6. To operate a photocopier, scanner and shredding machine.
7. To organise and maintain the confidential filing system containing individual health records.
8. To observe and maintain the confidentiality of service users.
