In joining Hard Landscaping Supplies, you will be joining our friendly and hard working family as a Customer Sales Assistant. You'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our branch; playing a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service and keeping colleagues and customers safe at all times. HLS is an ambitious business with huge growth expectations. What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in HLS branch life, but here are a few pointers:
- Delivering great customer service in line with HLS expectations, acting as the friendly face of our yard and providing a service with a smile, no matter how busy you are.
- Taking great pride in meeting the needs of our customers, ensuring HLS is the first choice go to for Landscaping materials
- Making a difference when you are customer facing and putting orders together to help our customers get all they need for their job.
- Making sure you demonstrate high levels of professionalism in the way you look and act at all times.
- Making sure the store is clean and clutter free for the yard team and customers
- Maintaining a high level of personal and team Health & Safety awareness and making sure you work to branch security procedures at all times.
- Accurately actioning all stock activities and till transactions, delivering great results and always ensuring company requirements are met in every transaction
- Ensuring you are dressed in full HLS uniform and PPE at all times
What experience do you need?
This is a key customer facing role, you just need the ability to provide great customer service, we can teach you the rest.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Northampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
