We are looking to welcome new Customer Resolutions Delivery Assistant to join our amazing Customer Relations team in IKEA Warrington.

Expected Starting Date: 3rd September 2023.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • This role offers competitive salary
  • 16 hours working, weekend only, 8 hours daily.
  • This role offers a competitive salary of £10,400 per annum pro rata

All applicants must be over the age of 19 years and should hold a valid driving license for category B vehicles for a minimum of 2 years.

You will need to have held a Full UK Driver's License for at least two years.

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Background checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include driving records and criminal history.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
At IKEA, it is all about our customers, and as part of the Customer Relations team you will help ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for all IKEA customers in today’s omnichannel retail environment.

IKEA’ has a sustainability commitment to complete all deliveries via EV by 2025, and you will play a big role in it.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for helping people who proactively work to manage customer escalations and identify root causes to improve customer experience. You will deliver and collect items from the customers home, to turn negative experiences into an opportunity to build customer loyalty and provide an exceptional shopping experience to all our customers.

The ideal candidate must be self-reliant, eager to contribute and have a positive problem-solving approach to any tasks and challenges.

Prior experience in customer service, retail or home delivery is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • As part of a fast-moving environment, you will ensure effective aftersales deliveries using available tools and systems that support an efficient delivery flow process
  • Operate according to working methods and routines and optimize daily delivery operations by securing stock that is delivered on time and in perfect conditions for the customers and stores
  • Contribute to the happy customer through a positive customer interaction across all touchpoints
  • Communicate professionally to all IKEA customers, co-workers, and service partners in a confident and friendly manner handling complaints and claims efficiently and with empathy
  • Inspecting & housekeeping of assigned vehicles before and after customer deliveries, reporting any issues identified, cleaning and placing on charge after use
  • Be accountable for your own and others by complying with all IKEA Health, Safety & Security requirements and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, and IKEA products whether on the road, in customer's property or in-store
  • Take initiative to resolve customer issues, going above and beyond to surprise and delight customers and supporting managers, co-workers, and organisation to improve business with focus on Happy Customer
  • Admin - setting up your own routes.
