Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 2 ( £21,318 pro rata per annum)
Hours/Contract: Part time – 21 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Abbey Road, Durham

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all administration work relating to the Regional Team. You will act as a link between Central Departments and the Region, providing support to all regional staff and support to other team members who may be working on a temporary basis in the region as required. You will assist the Head of Operations to ensure health and safety procedures are implemented and comply with charity policy.
As the first point of contact for the regional team, you will receive visitors, handle incoming calls, deal pro-actively with enquiries and support communication within the regional office. This will include general office duties as well as full secretarial support, producing correspondence, reports, minutes, management information, presentations and other documents – to include audio/copy/dictated methods. You will also organise and maintain working diaries for the regional team, making appointments as necessary, as well as arranging travel and accommodation arrangements from time to time.
What we are looking for:
- IT literacy with proven administration experience and a professional and sensitive telephone manner
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Ability to prioritise your work, juggling a variety of changing demands will be key
