- This is a remote-first role, so you’ll have the flexibility work anywhere in the UK, but there’ll be regular meetings in London and Bristol
What you’ll do
As our Customer Relationship Marketing Manager, Rooster Money, you’ll be developing and implementing the customer marketing strategy to drive its activation and retention within the RoosterMoney app. This'll be through the optimisation of our existing communications and the development of new ones.
You’ll monitor our activation and retention KPIs to help identify areas of opportunity and experiment to improve our communications and customer funnel. As well as this, you’ll manage our marketing permissions and our customer-facing communications to make sure they drive customer retention.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Making sure we have an understanding of our customers to manage retention and effective communication while improving the product to benefit activation and long-term retention
- Developing and implementing an innovative customer marketing technology strategy to best support our organisational goals
- Hiring and managing the performance of the Customer Marketing team through the establishment of objectives and coaching through our performance review process
- Ensuring that the technology we use drives channels of communication to meet the needs of Rooster Money and our bank, focusing on scaled capability, efficiency and effectiveness
- Educating Rooster Money marketing teams and driving best practices of customer marketing technology capabilities and measuring the impact to ensure value
- Driving bank-wide cohesion on customer marketing and related marketing technology roadmaps and end-to-end effectiveness to become a thought leader in this space
- Working with the Product Manager to develop a market-leading position for our products and services to communicate our position to identified target segments
- Collaborating with our colleagues within the wider bank to deliver excellent customer marketing
The skills you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a background in a customer marketing or marketing technology role within a B2C brand, that’s ideally in a consumer technology business, that drives product adoption and customer loyalty.
Alongside this, you’ll have an understanding of customer marketing and approaches taken to drive customer activation and retention. You’ll be interested in delivering great outcomes and managing and growing a team and have an eye for design, great attention to detail and organisation skills.
You’ll also need:
- Knowledge of communication platforms, customer communication management and of how to engage users through content
- An understanding of journey building and optimisation, including of app communications, and digital marketing and what drives action, engagement and loyalty from customers
- Creative production, including designing, image editing and video development, email development, including HTML and email template development, and task management skills
- Great written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills with knowledge of numbers and data analysis and a good commercial aptitude
- Relationship building skills, both internally and externally, to manage stakeholders and an understanding of regulations and compliance matters relating to customer marketing
