Customer Relationship Manager
The role:
As a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) you will be responsible for managing the long-term relationship between First Mortgage and our customers as they proceed through their mortgage and protection applications. We will look to you to proactively manage a pipeline of applications, providing updates and an excellent customer experience every step of the way.

The role could be based in our Newcastle, Sunderland or Chester le Street Branch’s.
Your duties will include:
- Managing a personal caseload of mortgage and protection application’s, ensuring everything is processed efficiently, and to the correct standards
- Taking of initial enquiries and client details and booking appointments in Advisor diaries
- Submitting new mortgage applications on behalf of clients and their advisers
- Sales pipeline progression activity including liaising with a variety of lenders, insurers & solicitors to keep everything moving as smoothly as possible
- Being focused on case completion through proactive management of the companies mortgage and insurance pipelines
- Working collaboratively with mortgage advisers to enable the most positive outcome for clients
- Referring our clients to partner businesses for home mover services (i.e. removals, utilities, broadband)
- Delivering a five-star service to all external and internal clients
You’ll be a crucial part of the team because:
You have at least 1 years previous mortgage or case administration experience. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to handle high levels of client case work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have the following traits:

- You have the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines with high levels of autonomy
- You are a strong self-motivator with a keen eye for detail
