- Manage progress of new business opportunities, liaising with Customer Services, Underwriting, RD Group, Major Projects, Technical and Inspection teams as required.
- Act as a co-ordinating contact with potential new customers to ensure progress is communicated and information flows in a timely manner.
- Work with Customer Relationship Managers in the preparation of new pitches.
- Update the news tracker and other relevant spreadsheets with opportunities for the Sector Leads to progress.
- Ensure key contacts in different alternative residential markets are up-to-date on our CRM system and meeting notes are updated.
- Support the team in attending meetings across the UK and at key industry events – occasional overnight hotel stays may be required, notably for key industry conferences.
- Customer-facing experience, co-ordinating customer transactions to conclusion.
- Knowledge of NHBC and NHBC practises
- Relationship building and maintenance skills – internal and external partners.
- Business development experience is advantageous but not desired.
