The role of Customer relationship Adviser is really important to us and underpins our ability to deliver great customer outcomes. We are a vibrant customer centric team operating in a dynamic fast paced environment where personality, knowledge and expertise are central to our approach. You will support our Customer Retention team by being a main point of contact to our existing customers and mortgage intermediaries upon maturity of their mortgage product.
This role will be based in our Manchester office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.
What would your day look like?
- Handling incoming calls & emails from customers and mortgage intermediaries, providing an excellent customer experience through their end-to-end Product transfer journey.
- Contacting our customers & brokers to discuss latest maturity options.
- Providing important documentation to support the mortgage rate changes requested.
- Working in an Execution only environment supported by an interactive script to deliver correct customer outcomes.
- Deliver on own and team goals through adherence to regulatory & consumer duty expectations.
- The ability to deal with customers in difficult situations.
- Working collaboratively to improve customer and colleague processes.
What do we expect of you?
- Outstanding telephone manner – clear, caring and curious.
- A high standard of numerical, organisational, and written communications skills.
- Ability to engage and undertake quality conversations with customers.
- Competent and confident with common IT platforms and ability to learn various in-house systems.
- Can demonstrate able to consistently deliver in a fast-paced compliance environment.
- Ability to work productively on your own & with colleagues to deliver personal/team goals.
- Previous experience in a Financial services environment would be an advantage but not essential.
