Average working hours 9-11 for the Saturday

Devon & Cornwall Logistics are a transport company based in Devon with a Branch in Cornwall providing delivery/collection services across the Southwest. We are looking for a Drivers Mate for Saturdays only which will be on a weekly basis, you will be employed by Devon and Cornwall Logistics.

Job Description

• deliver/collect brown & white goods and flat pack furniture
• some basic installation may be required
• Number of deliveries/collections will vary from 15-50 depending on round and delivery area.
• Drivers Mate will work along side the driver using the scanner and ensuring customers are contacted to advise on delivery times. Training will be given.
• Help unload and deliver items as part of the team.
• Need to be fit and healthy as some heavy lifting is involved.

Essential Requirements.

• able to use own initiative
• excellent customers service
• good personal presentation and hygiene.
• manual handling will be involved so a need to be physically fit
• Able to pass DBS Check

Uniform will be provided

Hours - Start Times

• 6.00 to 7.00am depending on round
• Average working hours 9-11 for the Saturday

Driving Experience

• Own transport is essential to get to work as no bus route

Position is paid weekly by bank transfer.

Full training will be provided for successful candidates.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From £10.55 per hour
