Office Assistant/Customer Service Operator
Please only apply if you can commit to working fulltime our busiest period is June 1st until end of September, annual leave is not permitted during this period. However we do have downtime during our annual closure over the Christmas period.
On the whole this position is Monday to Friday. However you will also be required to work on weekends during our peak period.
What do I need to be successful in this role?

· A team player that is happy to learn about our business and take a hands on approach to helping customers online, instore and on the phone.
· Customer service experience is not essential, it is your understanding of the job and the needs of the business that are paramount and we can offer you full training on the job!
· Problem solving skills the ability to think on your feet and create solutions for our customers.

· Excellent attendance, time keeping, reliability and enthusiasm are all essential skills for this role.
- Full clean driving licence although not essential would be a great asset, this will allow you to help us with deliveries to our stores and attend at schools for meetings and setting up and managing 'pop-up shops'
About the role:
Working as part of a team you will be providing advice and information to customers relating to all aspects of customer service, helping customers before and after sales.
Duties will include:
Professionally handling all customer calls including queries and complaints
Advising customers of how and what to order, sizing advice, turnaround times etc Dealing with new enquiries from schools and maintaining relationships with existing schools, signposting enquiries to the relevant team as appropriate.
Maintaining and updating customer records
Liaising with other internal departments to obtain information to respond to customer queries
Developing and maintaining current product and systems knowledge
Assisting in other areas of the business/warehouse as and when required.
Skills and Experience required:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in an office/warehouse based customer service role with excellent admin skills. You will have a professional phone manner and excellent eye for detail. You will be comfortable using Word and Excel. The ability to develop product knowledge is essential as is a hands on approach to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
