We are a busy, fast-paced veterinary hospital that is looking for front desk receptionists to help manage our front desk duties daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The candidate must be extremely personable, have a positive attitude, and be willing to go above and beyond for each client.
- taking initial client calls and coordinating visits
- assisting in the clinic running smoothly
- obtaining initial patient weights and documenting presenting complaints
- fielding phone calls regarding patients
- assisting the doctors with their paperwork
- preparing all paperwork
- keeping our lobby and exam rooms clean & sanitized in between appointments
- checking in and out clients throughout the day
Candidate should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining office operations. Computer skills are required. Professionalism and effective communication are vital for this position. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST! Time management and the ability to multitask are a necessity for this position. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Pay depends on experience.
